About Me

Educational History:

I graduated from Eureka Springs High School in 1996.  I attended College of the Ozarks for 2 years, then transferred to the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville,  where I graduated in 2001.  I went on to get my MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) from the University of Arkansas, Monticello.

Current Position:

I started teaching at Eureka Springs Elementary school in 2008.  I taught first grade for 2 years before moving into a Reading Recovery teacher position.  I taught RR for 6 years before moving into my current Reading Interventionist position.  

Previous Position:

Prior to teaching in ES, I taught Second grade at the Benton County School of the Arts in Rogers, AR for 3 years.  

Family Information:

I have 2 children, ages 10 and 7, who attend school here at ESES.  We have one dog, Curly Dog, who is very excited to see us when we get home in the afternoons!
