Announcements from our new principal, Mrs. Bonham:
Hello Students and Parents!
Welcome to the 25/26 academic year at Eureka Springs Middle School!
With local roots in Green Forest, I am no stranger to the area and I am proud to serve as Principal of Eureka Springs Middle School. I am honored to be able to educate, love and care for the students in the community. I bring a diverse professional background and over 15 years of school leadership experience to my role.
I began my career at IBM and Delta Air Lines as an instructional designer, but soon felt a deep calling to serve children, prompting a career shift into public education. Since then, I have taught at multiple levels and held various leadership roles in both urban and rural schools.
I hold two master’s degrees, a Master of Education in Educational Technology and a Master of Science in Human Resource Development and a National Principal Academy Fellow through The Relay Graduate School of Education. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D. in Rural and Diverse Instructional Leadership. My leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that “Schools Grow People”—a reflection of my commitment to nurturing the potential of both students and staff.
My husband Kent and I have fallen in love with the Eureka Springs community. I enjoy traveling to visit our grown children, hiking, camping, canoeing, boating, and sleeping under the stars. A devoted lover of books, animals, and her mama, I find deep joy in quiet moments, storytelling, and serving others with compassion and purpose.
