The Highlander Boys play for the District Championship tonight at the Flippin High School Gym at 7:30 PM. Please come support our athletes and be the 6th man they need. The Highlander Boys are undefeated in conference play and will secure the District Championship with a win tonight. The Regional Tournament will be hosted in Eureka Springs starting February 23rd. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Cyber Arena is teaming up with The Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub to host a Women in Cybersecurity event from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, to celebrate International Women’s Day. Participants can attend virtually or in person at the Hub- 204 E 4th St, North Little Rock, AR 72114.
The event will give girls a chance to learn what it’s like to choose a career in cybersecurity. The event, recommended for girls in sixth grade and older, will feature a panel of female mentors working in cybersecurity as well as several hands-on activities from women in the field.

Due to a decline in Covid cases, masks will no longer be required at this time. However, they are still recommended. If cases begin to rise above the 3% district population threshold, we will once again be required to wear masks. We encourage all students and staff to remain proactive in hand washing, disinfecting, and social distancing.

The E.S. Mountain Bike Team jumped at the chance to volunteer at the World Cyclocross Championship held in Fayetteville. It was inspiring to watch the top cyclocross riders from over 30 countries compete and to hear how much they loved coming to the trails of NW Arkansas. We are truly lucky to live here.
