Showing up on time every day is important to your child’s success and learning from preschool forward.
Missing 10% of school (1 or 2 days every month) can make it harder to:
• Gain early reading and math skills.
• Build relationships.
• Develop good attendance habits.

Starting in preschool and kindergarten, too many absences can cause children to fall behind in school.

When do I need to keep my child home from school?

Hey Highlander fans! Volleyball season is coming up with the first home game scheduled for August 27th. To simplify our gate entry for fans, the new ticket price is $5 for all adults and students who do not attend Eureka Springs Schools!

Eureka Springs Elementary Scottie Families,
In the next few weeks you will receive an "Update Information" registration packet in the mail for your returning student. This will include paperwork to fill out for the upcoming school year and your child's homeroom teacher. Please fill out all these forms and bring them with you to our Back-to-School Open House on August 13th from 3:00-5:00. Mark your calendar and plan to join us to turn in paperwork, ask questions and meet your child's teacher and support staff. There will be fun, friends, and refreshments. See you then!

We are proud of our elementary school team who presented at the National Model Schools Conference last week in Orlando. The team conducted two sessions on creating a positive school culture.

This is a message for families who have a child who will be starting kindergarten at ESES in August 2024.

Please join us in celebrating these teachers who were recognized by the state for high student achievement, high student growth and/or teaching in a shortage area: Susan Ragsdale, Eric Hearth, Tilenna Hill, Misty Holloway, Kyle Farrar, Carrie Gay and Shawna Miller (not pictured).

Parents - If you have already signed up for this program or would like to, please fill out the form only one time! Thank you
