Our advanced science students put their creativity and engineering skills to the test today as they designed and tested parachutes! The goal of the lab was to observe and measure the effects of air resistance on closed and open parachutes, with a challenge to create one with the maximum air resistance.
A big congratulations to Everleigh McCullough and Ariel Grulkey for winning the contest with their exceptional parachute design! 🎈 Their creation had the best air resistance, earning them a $5 McDonald’s gift card! 🍔🍟
