🚗💥 8th grade students are diving into Newton's First Law of Motion with a hands-on lab called "Observing Inertia!"
In this experiment, students sent a toy car down an incline, crashing it into an embankment. They performed trials with a doll seatbelted in the car and without a seatbelt, measuring how far the doll flew from the car!

🎉 FBLA Social Outing for Gold! 🎉
ESHS FBLA students are on their way to a 2024 Gold Banner as they work through the National FBLA Champion Chapter Tracker! On October 30th, five members visited Bubba’s Barbeque in Eureka Springs for a team-building experience and a behind-the-scenes look at small business operations.

"Five FBLA members traveled to Bubba’s Barbeque in Eureka Springs to enjoy lunch and to learn about running a business from the manager, Kevin Tapia. From Kevin, the members learned about the importance of hiring loyal and reliable employees, working hard, and finding fun within the workplace. With hiring employees who are willing to work hard to maintain their jobs, Kevin mentioned that it is important to keep good employees. Kevin also discussed the economic requirements for a business in order to pay employees, pay for the product, and pay for advertisements. Another important mention was the location of the business, he mentioned that successful businesses thrive off foot traffic and Bubbas is in the perfect location to be seen by all tourists traveling in and out of Eureka! At the end of the outing, Kevin took all the members into the back of the kitchen to see the “pit”, this is where all the meat is smoked by Kevin himself.
