Rowan Beattie, the daughter of Lilia Sternet and Roderick Beattie, has been selected as the Eureka Springs Rotary Student of the Month for January 2025. Rowan, a senior at Eureka Springs High School is the founder and President of College Prep Club, President of National Honor Society, President of NAMI and Quiz Bowl Captain. She is a member of the Mountain Biking Club and has helped with trail restoration and maintains the social media page. She enjoys teaching kids how to bike and helps her peers with college applications. She also serves as a student aide in Science Classes. Rowan maintains a 4.1 GPA. She enjoys art, photography and just being outdoors. Following graduation, Rowan plans to pursue a double major in Biology and Environmental Science but hasn’t ruled out engineering and math.
