TUESDAY is the big day!!! Two amazing community partners, April Griffith from the Eureka Springs Carnegie Public Library and famous author Dr. Ashley Wellman, will be joining us for some great fun! Here is what April would like to announce... " Join me at literacy night to get families signed up for library cards and to learn more about the Raising a Reader Program." Raising a Reader is a collaboration between the Public Library and the ES Elementary school that helps support families to build, practice, and grow shared reading routines at home. This helps set students up for success by learning skills needed to thrive in school and beyond. The ESES Pre-K, 1st, and 2nd-grade families will be participating in the Raising a Reader program this semester! See you TUESDAY, Feb. 4th, 4:30-5:30 pm!

🥚✨ Egg Drop Lab Champions! ✨🥚 Our 8th-grade science students took on the challenge of designing secure packaging to safely deliver food and medicine to war-torn areas—represented by an egg surviving drops from increasing heights. 🌍💡 Using their knowledge of velocity, acceleration, force, gravitational potential energy, and kinetic energy, students tested their designs, collecting data along the way. Most eggs made it through the 8-meter drop, but the four groups pictured below achieved an incredible 40-meter drop survival! 🎉👏 Each member of the winning teams received a great prize! 🍟🏆 Great job, future engineers and problem-solvers! 💪🔬
