Congratulations to Thomas Greenway on being a finalist in the Animation category at the Ozarks Media Arts Festival!! He travels to Springdale today to participate in various workshops and attend the festival's closing ceremony. Thomas is a senior who has been working hard at improving his animation skills since his freshman year. He hasn't taken any shortcuts, either, he creates everything from scratch using Adobe Animate. For this project he collaborated with NAMI to promote mental health awareness. He worked on this project in his EAST and A/V Production classes. Way to go, Thomas!

We aim to supply 25 baskets filled with essentials and goodies to make Thanksgiving special for selected families in our community.

Classes will participate in a can drive to gather non-perishable food items.
The class that collects the most items will WIN a prize! 🏆

Ms. Purdy-Hoyt's students recently took on a colorful challenge in their Graphing Lab assignment! Using M&M color counts, they constructed both pie charts and bar graphs, mastering the art of data representation. 🎉🍫📈
Through multiple calculations, they created visually appealing graphs, learning hands-on how data can be turned into something meaningful. Their results were impressive, showcasing their hard work and creativity! 🙌💡

Our chess team made us proud this Saturday at the first away tournament in Hoxie! 🌟 William Vaverka clinched the gold medal with an undefeated day, while Finn Van Sickle took home bronze after a thrilling last-round win, edging out JD Eckman, Christian Thao, and Sonny Thao on tiebreaks. 🥇🥉
Roman Schuber, Bonus Shock, and Chase Abendroth put in solid performances, finishing just one game shy of the podium. Anna Vaverka and Madeline Walden each had strong wins to close out the tournament.
A fantastic showing against a field of 41 players, including a team that medaled at State last year! 🎉👏 Go, Eureka Springs!
