Tiffany Cross, a senior at Eureka Springs High School has been named the Eureka Springs Rotary Student of the month for December 2022. Tiffany is the daughter of John Cross Jr and Jennifer Cross. Tiffany maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. Tiffany loves playing soccer. She enjoys reading and being with friends. Tiffany is the office manager at Blue Springs. After graduation, Tiffany hasn’t finalized her college selection yet, but she plans to study to become an elementary school teacher.

With the start of the new semester, just a friendly reminder regarding the importance of good school attendance. Being in school directly impacts student achievement. Please help us reach our attendance goals by striving for less than five absences per semester.

If you are interested in learning more about the Eureka Springs Shooting Sports Team there will be an informational meeting on January 5th, in the High School Cafeteria. The meeting will begin at 5:30. We will discuss everything you need to know to get started on the team. Returning members are not required to attend but are welcome. Anyone wanting to join for the first time will need to attend the meeting with a parent. All members will be required to take the Hunter Education course for Arkansas before competing in May. Rigorous safety instruction will also be required before students are allowed to begin practicing. For more information you can visit the Arkansas Game and Fish Youth Shooting Sports website. Returning members can pick up sign up paperwork in their building office. Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to join.
