Katie Farrar, a senior at Eureka Springs High School, has been named the Eureka Springs Rotary Student of the Month for November 2022. Katie is the daughter of Kyle and Amanda Farrar. She maintains a 3.7 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society, Renaissance and Family Consumer Sciences. Her focus in high school has been completing AP and College Concurrent Classes. She was the Sophomore Class Treasurer and Captain of the Girls Basketball team. Katie has received a Youth Award for completing 2 years of leadership training. She is a member of the Youth Group leadership team. In basketball, she was named the outstanding rebounder her sophomore and junior years and was named MVP for girls golf her junior year. Katie’s hobbies are basketball, golf, reading, hiking and spending time with family and friends. She works at For Bare Feet in Eureka Springs. Following graduation, Katie plans to attend Hannibal-LaGrange University where she will major in Psychology with social work involved.

Congratulations to Shane Holloway and Larrah Leavell! They were honored by the Elk's Lodge as the Students of the Quarter. Students are selected because of their dedication to academics, athletics, overall character, and leadership. We are proud of you!!

The high school will be on semester test schedule on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday will be odd hour testing, Thursday will be even testing and Friday will be makeup testing.
Arrive on time for your exams. You must stay the entire class period, as the office cannot call in the classroom and disturb others who are testing.

Hannah Kelley, a senior at Eureka Springs High School, has been named the Eureka Springs Rotary Student of the Month for October 2022. She maintains a 3.9 GPA. Hannah is the daughter of Elizabeth and James Kelley. Hannah was also named the Virtual Arkansas Student of the Month in October. She received 1st place in the Introduction to Public Speaking competition at the District VI Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) virtual spring conference. Hannah is Co-Leader of Christians in Action (2022-2023). In 2021- 2022, she served as Treasurer for both FBLA and Rotary Interact and is currently the Vice President of Interact. She is a member of the National Honors Society and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She enjoys soccer and served as the Girls’ Defensive Soccer Captain during 2021-2022. Hannah plays the piano and is a member of the Worship team at the Faith Christian Family Church. During the summer, Hannah worked at Love Green Salad and Juice Bar. She is considering her options following graduation.
